The Guest Bathroom Remodel project marks one of my ventures into competition on the platform known as Arcbazar. Delightfully, my design secured the coveted first place in the competition, affirming the creativity and innovation I bring to my work. The original layout consisted of two separate areas, serving as a dark and inefficiently utilized bathroom space. Structurally, there were no limitations to consider, providing a blank canvas for transformation. The primary goal of the project was to create a high-end design while addressing the issues of darkness and inadequate lighting, ultimately crafting a brighter and better-planned bathroom. To achieve this, I opted for a large, frameless mirror to add depth and create the illusion of a larger space within the long, narrow rectangle of the bathroom. Open shelving was incorporated to enhance depth and dimension, complementing the chosen materials and colours to further accentuate the effect. Additionally, I maximized brightness levels by adding extra lighting fixtures behind the mirror and on the ceiling. The result is a transformed space that not only exudes luxury but also maximizes functionality, proving that thoughtful design choices can elevate even the most challenging of spaces.
